Art Plastique Studio
ABOUT THE STUDIO
The digital art studio is a collection of work and visual essays Clo has been playing around with as part of her project methodology, using colors and structures to create, here, something tangible.

This plethora of objects, paintings, and creative practices is a nonsense, not particularly useful project that stands for allowing every individual to stop censoring themselves in the research of making sense.
The approach is more unusual yet very familiar. We utilize techniques & savoir-faire of the imagination to allow the process of genius, emotions, courage, and superfluous to interact and create a sensation.
Clo’s work does not require any particular positive opinions and does not need notice or instruction.
The idea is to simply express feelings, memories, and stories with plural forms of graphic and musical languages.
In the same way the classes she teaches are the classes she would like to take, Clo creates objects and other things she would appreciate looking at from someone else’s work to feel a certain way, to give space to her emotions.
Playful simplicity. Work in progress.
Never superflu, always superfou.
Panoplies de panoramas.
Everybody has a continuous theater in their head with all these different personas.
This is just one big opera.
Grand classique du n’importe quoi.
Mise en scène puis mise en place.
A fat desire to experience projects you have in your head.
Playing with angles. Drafts behind imagination
It's not really about making sense
it’s about making a sensation
“I am very okay if no one understands or cares about what I design and create because the process of making the object simply gives me peace.”
“Art is quite the opposite of making sense, the only purpose of art is to give an emotion.”

Paintings
Painting acrylic on canvas and forms of paper was the initial initiative of allowing a new vision.
If painting is not required to be beautiful but is just and simply made to express a sensation and create an emotion, then the absolutely absurd does not exist.
It is simple.
Clo started to paint once she understood that it felt excellent to have a space, a craft, to do “n’importe quoi”
(we could translate by “doing whatever” but here we won’t because it sounds more accurate in French).
Utilizing colors with quite a lot of structure of matter was a significant process for Clo to see that visions could become real, especially living with a high-rhythm creative mind.
Colors, structures, and matter were the starting point, the aperitivo to make that story tangible.

Small objects
I have many more pieces to come but they are not finished yet. They will be for the launch so if we can keep some photo spaces available.
Considering design and furniture as another language of expression and continuing to approach art and construction with the idea that useful and beautiful were not adequate and safe words of vocabulary to follow, Clo started to explore furniture and object making.

Art collabs
I have many more pieces to come but they are not finished yet. They will be for the launch so if we can keep some photo spaces available.
Clo is currently working with a French designer, Florent Sarda, around glass lighting and wood-based pieces of furniture.
The lighting pieces are carefully curated and assembled at Sarda’s home studio near Lyon, France.
The wood-based furniture is made from selected ancient wood and steel found in old French farms before being renovated. Painting is added after a detailed selection of the piece.
